One of my great pleasures is to watch Red Kites expertly and effortlessly riding the skies above my home and garden. I often imagine how the lands look from their perspective, this series began during harvest season when the fields were gold. I also imagine the hidden shapes beneath the soil, which peak out here and there in these pieces.
Painting this series of work took me completely out of my comfort zone, but personally I think that they are highly successful pieces of work.
This is the fifth of the series. Framed in natural lime wood.Materials used:
acrylics, pencil, ink, wooden painting panel, cold wax.
