Dragon Dillies - Annette Elizabeth Sykes
Rainbow rolled in blue, yellow and green, an elegant woman wears a dress adorned with dragons, inspired by a Pictish Carving in Kirkwall Museum on the Orkney, as I was carving the plate my mind turned to the Welsh Dragon and then onto their flower - the Daffodil, which is also my birth flower, March 1st, St Davids Day - so in came winding swathes of flora and the title was born. ‘Dragon-dillies’.
